Ok, I know that I am not special needs. But for the life of me I can not get the reese receiver pin lock to come off. I can unlock it no problem. But the lock will not let go of the pin. I hosed it down with WD-40 and let it sit over night and its solid. I dont want to hit it with a hammer of anything in fear that I will really goof it up. Am I missing something? Does anybody have any ideas?

 

You can try using a pry bar to give it a little tug. Most likely you need to keep the key turned while pulling. If all fails, pull out the sawzall with a nice blade.
