1992 dakota tranny line ?

Default 1992 dakota tranny line ?

what size are the tranny lines coming out of the rad to the tranny? and are they doubled flaired at the rad...

My guess is 5/16 line. It may be bigger or smaller. And Stock came with the quick disconnect connectors at the transmission. I'm not to sure if it had a flare or a o- ring. You can check the parts manuals or the service manuals located in the FAQ, to see some pics.

My 90 there are no flair at raditor just cut off end with rubber hose connecting it to the rad

They are steel, but with like 6 inches or so of rubber connecting it to the radiator.

i see someone has replaced the factory hoses with plain rubber hoses, what happens if i replace the rubber hoses with steel ones, i know a friends dodge mini van has all factory steel lines from the tranny to the plastic rad,
