What engine?

I would start by checking the IAC and MAP sensors and make sure there are no vacuum leaks. Also check the fuel pressure. Just cause the pumps on doesn't mean it's putting out 100%.

it has the 3.9l v6 where are the map and iac sensors? and would it make it do this if it had the egr valve disabled ? i tinkerd around with it a few minutes ago and got it running but i dont know if it was just because it was sitting for a few hours or if i actually fixed it i do not know all i did was play around with vaccume hoses and the fuel filter could a clogged fuel filter cause these problems?? its one thing im suspecting but dont get my check for a week or so but once i do i can replace anything cus money wont be an issue i just want to make my truck run excellent and be dependeble thanks for your input

I can almost guaranty that your problem is the IAC motor. This is located on the drivers front side of the throttle body. It looks kind of like an actuator and if you look has an adjustable screw pushing on the throttle arm. These things are crappy at best and parts stores are extremely proud of them . I think the last one I bought was $110 or something like that. It lasted about 4 months. You can manually put power to the plug and see if it works or not. This is what makes the brief buzzing noise after you turn off your motor. If you can still hear this noise, have someone shut down the engine while you watch the actuator arm. If it moves, its obviously ok, if it doesnt, something is broken inside. Hope this helps.

I would change it, is under the truck, drivers side, along the frame.
