Speaking of which... I heard a rumor that the front valences from 97 + Daks fit the 1st gens. All i have on the front of mine is the little bumper, it looks pretty weird with nothing more below it.

Yes, the 2 gen dakota/durango front valance will fit. I've seen it on a 1 gen and it looks good. I dont think its a direct bolt on, but I cant think its that tough.

The only thing I noticed with that options, is that the 1 gen is very boxy body and the front valance from the 2nd gen is pretty rounded and smooth. All depends on what you are looking for.
