Default Three Codes

I swapped my Throttle body with a V8 Throttle Body, its now throwing three codes all have to do witht the throttle body, is this normal? Should i just clear them?

Did you use your old sensors? If you used the ones that came on the throttle body, they could be bad. Otherwise, did you reset the computer after installing the new throttle body?

Anytime you make a change to the engine, you need to reset the computer otherwise it will be getting different readings than its used to and throw codes. Mine threw 8 check engine codes when I first put on my new modified intake manifold and the engine ran like crap until the computer could figure out the new setup.

I went out to drive it after i posted this and they are gone now....but anyways how do i reset the computer? Disconnect the batter?

Yes, unplug it for 15-20 minutes. Yeah, that doesn't surprise me that it cleared itself up once it understands that the new readings are there to stay.
