Well, here I am, hijacking my own thread -

As for the rear bumper, can one from a 2nd gen fit and look right, on my '91? The bumper on mine is BAD on the rear.... needed to be replaced....

Thats a good question. I know for 100% sure that the frame rails are the same widths and the bumper mounts are identical, so it will bolt up. But the body on the 2nd gens are bigger than our 1st gens, so the bumper might be wider. Its hard to say if it would look right until you actually do it and see for yourself. If you have one your specifically looking at in your area, go take some measurements on it.

Well, I will do that, then. I wasnt sure if the mounts, frame rails, etc... would match up - so good starting point, anyway. I like the look of the OEM step bumper - and would prefer to keep one - i think they look better.
