Default Wooo hooooo

Sweet. Found my tranny. NV4500 and attached Tcase for 500 bucks. I gotta drive 400 miles to pick it up, but even with gas thats still half the cost of just the tranny locally.

A suppose a dodge bellhousing is only a junkyard item ehh? This one came out of a gasser chevy.

The dodge will live again.....VERY soon.

NICE!!! Do you have a body lift, cause if I understand correctly, the NV4500 won't fit in the transmission tunnel without one. That thing is going to be a beast though.

Be sure to do a write up about it too!

Very nice.

I would change out the trans fluid when you get it. Its a pain to find though and expensive. BTW, if you are getting a Chevy NV4500 you will need to change the input shaft and bellhousing also, T-Case I am not sure on. There are websites that sell stuff, I think one is www.nv4500.com. A few others.

Sweet thanks for the link DB.

Asside from taking it apart is there anything terrible about switching the shafts? I know you need to have the gears set up in the correct order(duh) and facing the correct direction(duh again) but anything else I should know about?

I dont think the case should be an issue.

Ill for sure do a write up 318. And yes, Ive got a 2 inch.
