seat options

Default seat options

so my drivers seat is starting to sag a lil which is acually perfect if i wanna have the window down and my arm out cuz i naturally sag left in the seat.... so i wanna replace the seat and i thought i saw on here that some one had replaced their drivers seat with a passenger and maybe put some stereo stuff between the seats... i wanted to do this but wanted some input first.... and help?

You have a few options. You could find another "40" from a 60-40 split bench seat. Or, some of the first gen Dakotas had bucket seats and a center console from the factory if you can find that. Or, if your up for a little more work, there are a few recent threads about a 2nd gen bucket seat swap you could read through.

well i am leaning toward the finding a second 40 section cuz there is one in my local junk yard but it has a burn hole in center of the seat other than that it's been there a while not taking any sun and feels pretty firm... plus i could move my subs between the seats and be creative for my arm rest i guess... so is this a bolt on deal or what would i have to go through?

cool thanks for finding that i'll hopefully get to trying that next weekend i'll post some pics if i actually get to it... planning a dunes riding trip for following weekend and having a firmer seat on four hour drive there would be nice
