And again it happened. I don't know if it has anything to do with it but each time this has happened it has been after 2 to 4 miles of driving from a cold start. Maybe related maybe not.

Thats really hard to say without knowing for sure if its an ignition problem or fuel delivery problem. Any chance you carry some tools with you and find out what its not getting next time it happens?

Keep looking all around the wires. The power splice is the most famous. But I guess it was due to the solder they used. It is prone to corrode. So it can be any splice.

I'm affraid I don't have the know how the trace a problem like this. I talked to my trusted certified mechanic and he suggested possible crankshaft position sensor. So I will try that and report back the results.

Hope I'm not jinxing myself but I've driven it several times since I put the new crankshft position sensor and no problems so far. Fingers crossed.
