Hey blackie, I have a 93 Dakota also and after I did a brake job including purging the lines and refilling, my abs and park brake warning lights were on permanently. Two garages told me that there is a shuttle valve in the line that must be returned to the neutral position but with the fluid topped off this should happen automatically by just pushing on the brake pedal as hard as you can. This did not solve my problem. After about a month I discovered that my rear brake lights were out also. I replaced the fuse and lo and behold the abs and park dash warning lights went out and my rear brake lights came on. I bet its your fuse.

if your warning buzzer doesn't work either then check the fuse for that and the rear wheel anti-lock and brake lights it is probably blown
