Default Linkage bushing?

Hey on my truck i have a problem with my linkage between my tranny and column binding i think i might of traced it to tje cause. where it comes off the steering column on the inside of the engine bay. If someone can look is there supposed to be a bushing there because when i move it with my hand i get alot of play there. So yeah thanks in advance.

*****P.S. Any advice for setting the timing on these dang trucks would be appreciated because it looks like im between 5-10 deg out. Thanks

First off, try to take a picture of WHERE the play comes from. Is it the arm that comes through the firewall that everything drops down from? Is it the actual linkage that runs vertically down towards the rest of the assembly

What makes you think your timing is off?

Timing is controlled by the computer. All you have to do is put the rotor directly on the #1 on the distributer cap when the piston in cylinder 1 is in the TDC position.
