Angry 1993 dodge dakota Trans Rebuild (46rh)

So i just got done re-building my auto trans in my 93 dodge dakota 5.2 4X4. When i drive the truck it shifts 1-2 just fine, 2-3 just fine also, but when driving in 3rd it feels like it is binding up. trans was fully cleaned in a dipping tank, Valve body completely gone through and cleaned. Flushed TC and re-used old one. What could be causing this?

thanks
Rich

Sounds like perhaps the Torque Converter Clutch is acting up.

Well it does it with the O/D off too. It seems to kinda slip when warm, possible mis-adjusted bands?

The torque converter clutch locks up in 3rd as well, not just OD.
