I might have the same problem as 318SLT (Brian right?)

At work today, i looked out the window and notice my truck was a little lopsided. It looks to be lower on the left (drivers) side. I havent measured if it is for sure but the parking lots was pretty flat so by the looks of it, its off by about 1" or 2.

Also, could this be the problem why its pulling left a bit? When im on the highway, if i let go of the wheel, it drifts off to the left. Could this be the problem? I tested the tire pressure and its at 37PSI in front left, and 35PSI in the right front.

2 psi shouldn't matter, but drop that left side back to 35.

I determined it was the torsion bar settling. It took between 1/2 and 3/4 of a turn to get it back level, which isn't much. I had taken my shocks off to make sure they weren't blown, and they were fine. I inspected my balljoints and they were all fine, so that just left the torsion bar.

Oh, and when you adjust the bar, go drive the truck around the block in a zig zag fasion to work out the suspension before you remeasure it.

So it is a sagging T-bar? If i remember, before i leave tonight i'll measure it just to be sure.

I'll try to get to it tmrrw. That should fix my allignment problem eh?

 

If your truck was aligned at the height your going to put it back up to, then yes, it will fix your problem. My truck was pulling to one side too until I re-adjusted them.

 

alright, thanks. It went perfectly straight til a little while ago when it was pulling. Thats why i thought it was the air pressure so i adjusted and it still didnt help.
