i found a chrome roll bar out of a ranger for 45 dollars on craigslist was wondering if it will fit my 90' dakota

 

One guy said it fit perfectly for him. But they are an inch or 2 narrower than ours. But it will fit, it just may be slightly narrow.

So is everyone getting one now?

 

It'll be a little narrow. Get a tape measure and see what's what.

 

I want a chrome one if that one works out I might get a similar one. I'm going totally black N chrome. Post up some pics if it works out!

 

i got a mazda/ford 2005 b2300 and a 89 dak 4x4 sport with a factory roll bar in it. there not even close. in my opinion a ranger roll bar in a dak will fit but i think it will look way undersized. look for a bar out of a dak sport, there a perfect fit and look real good.

 

To be clear its a light bar. It wont protect you in a rollover unless its mounted to the frame. You may understand that, but its a common mistake.

I was looking at one this morning and think it would be way too narrow.

 

i am clear that its a lightbar thats what i want it for so i can take my homemade one off i cut the ladder rack off of a topper and used that and i found this so cheap i fugured if it was the same i could extend it onto my frame and mount oll my tabs
