Exclamation Stereo, Dome Lights, Hood lamp, Power Mirrors problem!

Hi, First time here on these fourms.

I was sitting in my dodge the other day and I stretched out my left foot and i must have hit something. Now my stereo, dome light, hood lamp and power mirrors do not work. I checked the fuses and found nothing there. there is a little wear on a pink wire behind the floor mat that i think touched a screw. Should also mention this is a 1995 single cab

If you have any ideas for me please let me know, i need my radio!

Under the hood is a 5 amp fuse inside the relay box. Change it out and your good to go.

That happened to me too, but i did it in the process of putting an aftermarket cd player into my dash. I blew the 5 amp fuse under the hood, and even though it didn't look like it i must have blew the red 10amp fuse for the stereo also because i replaced the 5 amp fuse, and the side mirrors and interior lights worked, but my cd player still did not work so i replaced the red 10 amp fuse and the cd player than worked.

I did the same thing in my '93 I stretched out my left foot and a bunch of stuff went out dome light radio ect. but it wasn't a fuse. There is a clip under the mat where all the wires connect. In my truck one side of this clip where it snaps together had broke and by just looking at it you couldn't tell it was broken because one side was still clipped. I took a zip tie and pulled that side back together. Works like new! Maybe this will save you from replacing a bunch of light bulbs and fuses.

Same solution. But with my truck the problem was the hood lamp wire some how got pinched when I closed the hood and it was blowing those 5 amp fuses like crazy. Took me a while to realize what was causing it. Finally disconnected the lamp altogether as the light it provided didn't help much anyway.
