Default Dakota interior replacement

I gotta replace the front 60/40 bench seat and seat belt..things IN the seats, not on the door frame and the back sliding window. How hard are these tasks and any advice or place to get directions?

Also, my power locks engage but don't lock...help? haha

Would this stuff be in the Hane's manual?

The seats come out easy. A few bolts in front. A few in the back. The seat belts use large torque head bolts. You will need to unbolt it.

For the locks it may be sticking somewhere. Take off the panels and see if there are any bent or sticking parts. You can try WD40. Most likely you will need to replace the lock solenoids. I have to replace mine ever few years.

Cool, thanks. I wasnt sure if the seats and seat belts would be difficult or not cause I've dealt with them before on a Blazer but I wasnt sure if they would be similar.

What about replacing the back window?

As far as I know the back window is only held in by the gasket. Just pry the gasket out and your done. It may be stubborn though.

As for the back window getting it out is the easy part (especially if it's broken already) putting it back in was a real ball buster. My FIL and I did the window on his 90 and it really would have been hard to do with 1 person.

On your locks I'd start with cleaning everything up with some electrical cleaner and then re lube everything with graphite, in my experience WD40 works for about a week then everything is right back where you started.
