Default bad idle, bogging, surging, burning black etc..

ever since we started welding on my truck its been running like garbage.

it bogs, surges and sounds like i have one HELL of a cam but has no power to back it up.
now for the idiots,

YES, i disconnected the battery. lol

i honestly think thats where my problem lies tho, do i need to do an idle re-learn? if so, how is it done on this truck?

other then that, so far i havent really done much testing, but it will come lol

I'd be interested to see how this turns out.

For the record - when welding on a vehicle, I'd recommend to disconnect the battery and the computers. (The PCM for sure, most trucks also have an ABS module and airbag module which I'd suggest disconnecting if possible.)

so the codes i got were for the upstrem and downstream 02...its been over a week, and the problem still persists. UUBER intermittent tho, one minute its doing it, next it isnt. Im starting to lean toward MAP or TPS sensor.

Will start troubleshooing soon and let you knw.

Ya the MAP can cause those problems. For me I started running Extremely rich when cold. I changed out the MAP with an old one. And it ran prefect for about 3 months. Now its back. So I may just buy a new one.
