OBD I to OBD II
Okie dokie. As Ive stated, my wiring skills are somewhat subpar.
My question lies here. I have a 360 out of a 98. It still has the sensors and such for that year. I am pulling my 318 to stick in my wifes scout 80. I have 2 pcms for a 93, but lack another wiring harness. So.....I was wondering. If I pull the engine side harness WITH my 318, and the pcm can I install an OBD II in its place? Will the engine side OBD II mate with the cab side OBD I wiring?
That would be groovy. It would allow me access to much better tuners/chips.

Well anything is possible with time and more money. For the OBD2 to work your going to need Grab EVERYTHING under the hood and under the dash and probably more.
Stick with OBD1. Extremely simple and widely available.
