I wouldnt drive a rear wheel drive in deep fresh snow. Sorry man, but your risking a lot going out in that. Think of every moron who doesnt know how to drive in it all out at once "playing", and your lack of the ability to avoid them quickly. Its dangerous. Most the accidents I see are relatively low speed slides, but they still do a ton of damage. Avoid unnecessary trips, and drive very carefully. It may well save your truck.
That wasnt avoidable yesterday, my dads been driving the truck because his dd is in the shop and he drives more often to places, well anyways he told me that because of the 12+ inches off snow tuesday night to wednesday morning he couldnt even get out of the drive way until the street was packed down, once we got out (i went to work with him to help with snow removal) we slipped around some but not too bad
get rid of wide tires. after i solve my brake problem im getting smaller tires. the 325 85 R16s really suck on the road if its icy. ill be looking for something about 7-8 in wide instead of 12.5. spun out twice going slow
Ya'd think that wider tires would help because it would have more on the ground but mine arnt too big in the first place, dont know how wide they are but there only 27s
Yeah, well I'm from North Carolina... what's snow?
JK, but we typically don't see more than a few days where it snows each winter. The plus side to that is no salt, the downside to that is that it's no fun!

I totaly agree. Here in the city and desert maybe 1 or 2 days it snows. A 1\4 inch the most each day and is melted by 10am.
But 10mins away the mountains gots tons of snow to play in.

All year round, that sounds cool if you can play in it, whats the temp like over there on average durring the seasons (around where you live, not i the mountains)
