Welcome to DodgeForum!!

I'm not sure about the '87, but we have the entire FSM available for download for the '96 in faq2, or you can just download wiring diagram.

Welcome. Looks like you got a project going? What are you doing with the 87 and 96? A motor swap? For the 96 you can download the service manual from the FAQ in this section. As for the 87 you can try one of the online manuals we have listed in the FAQ. A 96 is a Gen 1 as well. 97 is Gen 2.

Good call! I read that too fast and missed that part. I don't think its an engine swap he's doing... he said he's building a 360, so it wouldn't have come out of either of those trucks, and he's asking for the body connector pin out in the firewall.

first of all the 96 and 87 are both gen 1. anything with a 50 pin connector would have to be on the front right fender (computer) take it from there crazy!

A little slow there Mazda!! =P Just messing with ya!

No, he's talking about the 50 pin body connector in the firewall. It's on the lower right side of the brake booster. The computer connector is 60 pins.

Go to the FAQ just a post or 2 above this one. Look to the left there is a Green arrow pointing at it.

Yup, and they are the only ones who list them that way and they are wrong. Dodge lists the generations how we have them listed.

Copied from faq2:
Service manuals
You can get Haynes. It is similar to Chilton's in price and material, it will run you $15 at most parts stores. For $19.00 you can get a full service manual on-line at https://www.alldatadiy.com/index.html http://www.autozone.com/shopping/repairGuide.htm
OR get the paper Full book at any dealership parts stores for $80. I got 1, I love it. Or http://www.helminc.com/helm/homepage.asp?r
OR here are a few sites that have some good manual stuff.

http://search.ebscohost.com/ 2 accounts to try

For library card number enter 123456789 submit, chose the Cincinnati/Hamilton Library submit, scroll down to AUTO REPAIR REFERENCE CENTER, pick year, make and model. It even has manuals for atvs and other small engines

K I'm looking dawm this site is diff then the others. I hope I can find this for my 87 I have the wiring harness out and its a mess. I just want to use wires that I need gauges and engine stuff. so a break of the block would be great. I've found lots of sites but they all want money none for free.
