okay 2 start ive got a 93 dak 5.2/2wd/auto. it will barely start and idle and when it does start and idle it backfires and spits and sputters and it wont do anything more than idle. when u touch the gas it dies. if you have any useful info plz txt ,e @ 419 516 7962 as i dont readily have access to a comp. thnx. jeremy

 

fyi. its backfiring thru the exhaust if that makes a difference. thnx

 

Most likely it is the a timing issue or spark plug wiring. Check around around the ignition system.
