Default anyone running headers

i picked up a set of pace setters and just realized that the passenger side manifold on my truck has the tube from the egr valve bottled to it.

i was thinking about getting a crank case evac kit and putting that on so i can hook it up.

im only visual for emission inspections but dont want to throw a code for no flow to the egr

I have Summitracing (pacesetter) headers on my truck without the EGR. I also put a non-EGR intake manifold on my truck. I left the purge valve plugged in without any vacuum lines running to or from it and it's only thrown a code once, and that was a 4 hour all interstate drive.

I got flowtech. It does have an EGR hookup. I don't have the EGR installed. Just like above I only get the code on long drives. But installing a tube that would hook up to it wouldn't be to hard. If you want I can post up a pic of the EGR tube hookup.

With out an functional EGR system in theory, you may loose some MPG due to not recycling unburned fuel.

I have a set of Summit Header and they have the EGR hookup. I need a new EGR valve.

i was thinking yesterday that i might get another tube that goes from the the manifold to the egr and use that to weld on the header. easier then using a crank case evac kit
