codes 22 and 21
latley when ive been trying to start my truck, it takes like 30 trys cranking it over and then when it does start it idles at like 200 rpms(not 2000 that wasnt a typo) almost sounds like its cammed out then it gets up to regular rpm after 15-30 seconds or so, then if i try to give it gas it will cut out down to 200 rpm or die...
after warming up the idle is better, driving around is normal and then again at random starts cutting out again...
any ideas?

Well code 21 is o2 sensor problem and 22 is ECT sensor out of range. For the complete list, go here... https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...ml#post1472415
I would start by replacing the ECT sensor (the one with 2 wires, not the one with 1 wire) and the o2 sensor and see if that fixes your problem. Also, you could try replacing the IAC while your at it to see if that smooths out the idle.

You have 1 o2 sensor.
The ECT sensor (engine coolant temp sensor) is located behind the accessory bracket next to the thermostat neck. There are 2 of them, one of the gauge and one for the computer. The one for the gauge has 1 wire and the one for the computer has 2 wires. You will want to replace the one with 2 wires for the computer.
