Exclamation Rusty Questions, Help!?

I recently bought a 92 dodge dakota ext cab with the 3.9L mag in it. It was in very decent condition and the guy was only offering 500 cash so i bought her. It only has 270K on it and the engine has been completly over hauled with new valves, head gaskets and new carb, I love this truck. The only thing is the rust forming around the wheel wells which were covered with trimming and the whole fender under the drivers door. Its looking pretty bad. Once i got under it to replace the tranny mount and body mount i noticed the passenger side floor was completly rotted out and i could poke my finger through it and feel the carpet... Now i get why my friend said "The floor feels squishy." I was just laid off and have very limited amount of money. What are the best ways of fixxing the floor panel and fenders? Thank you, jon

For the floor pans it's going to be cut out the rusted metal and replace it with new metal.
For the fenders I would say post some pics and show people what your talking about. You will get better advice with visual aid.

I had an old chevy that had rusted out floor pans. I cut some 1/2" plywood to fit then put some remanant carpet over it. Not the best, but they were still solid when I sold it 3 years later.

Cut out the bad metal and weld in a new piece is the best most permanent solution.

I know you said money is tight, but if you wanted to replace metal you could check http://www.rustrepair.com/ they have as good a selection for Body parts for the 87-96 as I have ever seen and replacing metal is always the best option for rust!!
