The black **** that adjusts the trip meter. Trying to remove the plastic cover that covers the instrument cluster, got everything loose, but want to ask the people that are online right now how to remove the black ****....pull, twist, what?

I have to remove this in order to remove the plastic cover.

 

Turn it counterclockwise it should come out.
