Default Interior and Exhaust

Well got the dash painted black and the trim bezel painted silver. Still working on the rest of the interior. Im not sure how to post pics yet but Ill figure it out after this post. There in my profile if you want to check that out.

Now my last post was about the good deal on an exhaust system well I ran into an even better one dealing with the exhaust!

Im acutally going to order the stainless steel exhaust kit with a single in dual out magnaflow muffler. So before I ordered it i wanted to check things out under the truck to see how hard of an installation it would be. Everything looked good except the dang cat to muffler pipe was welded to the cat. So I called meinieke to see what I could do with standard tools or what they could do. The guy offered to remove the cat, put a straight pipe there instead and weld the system together and install it all for $75. Now i wont have to mess around with getting a new cat, or spending a weekend installing it myself!

The kit on ebay is for 94-02 dakotas, so I was going to request a 3 inch cat to muffler pipe and a 3 inch muffler inlet to make it work for my 93 dakota. But now that he is taking off the cat will i even need to request a 3 inch pipe and muffler, wont the 2.5 inch pipe work or is the pipe from the engine to cat also 3 inches?

Cool! Ya post up pics.

To upload pictures.

You can create a photo album on this site, Go to "User CP" (Control panel). Near the top of each page in the black strip.

Or you can do a 3rd party website like www.photobucket.com or www.tinypic.com and use the photo link that uses the [IMG] tags.

Or upload it to the post by going to the "Go Advance" post tab next to "post reply" at the bottom then to "Manage Attachments" near the bottom. Then "Browse". Find th picture on your computer files. Then Upload.

So does anybody know the size of the pipe before the catalytic converter on a 93 dakota.....Is that all just 3 inches? Cuz I have to request the size.
