Help have a rear end noise
This is for youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gt7gWCgnFGI .
A noise from the rear end...ring and pinion?carrier bearing? idk something from back there only does it when i decellerate. It does not do it when it is in neutral accellerate or when i shift. It is a grinding whirring sort of noise and is loud. does not matter how fast I go.

I answered your PM, but for the sake of everybody else, I'll copy what I wrote here...
I can tell you with 99.9% certainty what that is! I've delt with it before. It is the front pinion bearing in the rear end. For me, it happened because I took the yoke off and didn't thread lock the nut... I simply tightened the pinion nut down to 210 ft*lbs with lots of thread lock and the problem went away. If you haven't ever removed the yoke though, my guess is that your pinion bearing is on its way out and needs replacing.
This is NOT something you should do yourself unless you are a very competent mechanic. Although its not as hard as regearing an axle, it does require resetting the pinion bearing preload, carrier bearing preload and ring gear backlash.

There is absolutely no reason you would loosen the pinion nut. If you tighten it, you do not need a new crush sleeve. The only time you need to change the crush sleeve is if you change the gears or change the bearings.
But if the nut is already at or over 210 ft*lbs, the bearing is shot.
