Default Any idea?

My 94 Dak was having issues shifting gears, or so I thought. I took my truck in and had the trans serviced but it didn't fix the prob. When I'm driving and I give it gas it seems to bog down and I get a clunking noise. It sounds like it is coming from under the truck but could it be something in the engine compartment? Anybody else have anything like this?

Tons of possibilities!! The bogging could be a vacuum leak to a bad Map sensor. Just check everything. Did you get any check engine codes?

Turns out it was the fuel pump, which sucks to replace alone! Bit of advice empty the tank.

Try siphoning the gas with a hand pump or small tube hose.

If it is full you can remove the bed. You will need at least 2 people to lift it up.
