According to Edmunds.com, the 1994 Dakota 4x4 extended cab has a turning radius of 44 feet. A comparable S-10 is 42.1.

A 2001 Dakota 4x4 extended cab has a turning radius of 41 feet, and a comparble Ranger is 43 feet.

None of the comparable trucks are really all that much better. You'd still have a 3-point.

I just looked up specs for my 88 F150 xtracab longbed 4x4 and it said its turning circle was just 37.8 ft. I know that truck had nice and tight turns but I didn't think it could be that tight especially since you found that a Ranger is 43 feet. Is that the full sized Ranger or is it already after they shrank them down to take over for the Ford Couriers?

Come to think of it my 83 Ranger could turn on a dime. That was a short bed though. That truck turned as tight as the old Datsun's (Nissan today) I used to drive for the Auto Parts store.
