Default Code 34
Code 34 means: Speed control Solenoid circuit. What does this mean? I got a 1989 Dakota V6 5-speed 4x4.

Speed Control is Cruise control. So your cruise control solenoid circuit has a problem. Take a look at it.

It could stand for the speed sensor. But that it has its own code. Are you sure it is 34?
