Question 1995 dakota 5.2 4x4

heres the story, i bought this truck for 200 bucks for a truck to play around with and mud bog, i get it home, it has a new battery, plugs, wires, runs mint, 270 000 kms and no rust, and the typical paint chips on the drivers side only. needless to say i was happy with my purchase. what size tires can i get away with?, and what else would you guys do for a wallet friendly mud bog/toy truck?

Welcome to the forum. Nice purchase!

I fit 30x9.5x15 under mine without any problems at all. I know others have fit a little bigger.

It really depends on if you want to keep it stock height or lift it. Stock height, pashadowops is right, if you lift it as high as the factory suspension can go and put on a body lift, it you can go all the way up to 33x12.50x15s without rubbing issues. Check faq2 for more details.

Welcome to DF. Looks like you got a fun project truck. It all depends on how far you want to go with it. Like said above the most you can go without getting crazy would be 33's You could fit 35's with fender cutting. Or do a SAS and Sky's the limit. Defiantly post up pics of the progress.
