Default 4x4 Indicator light.....

What could be the problem when the 4x4 indicator light by the shifter stays on all the time even when the T-Case is not shifted into 4wd. Mine stayed on all the time and it bugged me so I just took the bulb out of it. The T-case works like it is supposed to just the light stays on all the time. Any suggestions?

I believe the switch to turn the light on is located on the transfer case, above where the transfer case linkage connects to the transfer case.

It's either the switch is bad, or there is a wiring fault.

Yes most likely a bad switch.
