Default brake problems

i just got a 1992 dakota sport 2wd v6. when i got it it needed a brake booster and the brake light was on the dash.
i replaced that and the master cylinder and the peddle still goes to the floor. ive bled the front but i cant find the rear bleeder screws,
i also found a computer in the pass. kick panel that was unplugged i plugged it in and now i have the brake light on and the ABS light on. ive unhooked the battery and they come right back .
i cant figure out whats wrong.

any advice?

Well, the computer behind the passenger side kick panel is the ABS computer, so thats why your ABS light came on.

What method did you use to bleed the brakes and how long did you spend bleeding them? Based on the info you gave, my guess is they didn't get thoroughly bled or you bled them incorrectly and they need to be done again. As for the rear, check your rear drum adjustment screws to make sure the drums are tight. Then locate the bleed screw and bleed them as well. Its kinda obvious where its at. I'd get a picture for you but I don't have the same axle you do.

We have the FSM for these trucks that will tell you where the bleeder is and give you the proper method for bleeding the brakes.

rear bleeders should be on the back of the plate.

Looks broke off. Right between the 2 bolts above the brake line. You might end up replacing the rear wheel cylinders.

The bleed screw is located where the Red arrow is pointing. It looks like yours came without one, or it has broken off. Just replace the wheel cylinder. They are usually cheep.

Yea, wheel cylinders are like $10.
Try to be careful when removing the brake line that connects to them, as they look old and probably corroded in place. (In other words, don't be surprised if you need to replace the lines)
