Ok, so I just got back from the local Chrysler,Jeep,Dodge dealer in town. They are looking for candidates to take a test to see who will be accepted as tech's apprentice. Anyways, The service manager gives me a quick verbal test of general car techie stuff. And I guess he liked my answers cause the guy took my information down and said they will send me an invite to come back in April to take the actual test. Anyone ever heard of this? Cause I'm baffled.

 

I guess they are short staffed. They are several schools set up with automakers for teaching/ training. When I went to auto school it was intergraded with Ford. Toyota had a simalar program in another college close by.
