Default Early dakota brakes, 2 sizes

I was wondering how easy it might be to upgrade dakota front brakes. On a lot of older Mopars, you just put on a different caliper adapter/bracket, and it moves the caliper out a bit allowing for a bigger rotor. I see that Dakotas have a similar adapter, so it follows that we SHOULD be able to do the same thing.
Anybody here an expert on the brakes?

Without seeing an early Dakota set up, I don't know. I would say head out to a junkyard and take some measurements. Also you can go to www.autozone.com and check if the early and later years have the same part numbers.
