Hey guys.
I seem to have misplaced (maybe) the retaining hook and cable tensioner/equalizer for my parking brake.
I was wondering if someone could post up pictures of them, as installed on vehicle.

I looked in the parts manual,and service manual, but I'm looking for, like I said, a picture of "real" ones, installed on a vehicle.

I can only offer you one picture. I don't have that front hook on mine because the cable was too short with the new rear axle, so I took the adjuster assembly off of my 2wd and put it where the hook goes to make it fit.

Ya mine is the same as above. I also don't have my front clip. I believe I had to eliminate it when I did the 4wd swap.

 

Yea, about that... Why did I have to lose parts?
Guess I have to do a cost/benefit analysis of ordering parts from the dealer, or rigging something up.

Oh, yea. Why do I so soon forget about that other parts store? (Junkyard) I've got several close by.

In fact, this time last year, they had a nice 1st Gen there, saw it while passing by, but it disappeared a few days later.

 

Correct! Lol, since we were just discussing this over PM. When I do the axle swap on my truck I'm doing a disc brake conversion on the rears and losing the mechanical parking brake. Probably going to go with a hydraulic line lock.

So... if you need them I can send them to you for the cost of shipping. I have to find the hook though.
