what does this light mean, its on the far right, and it just poped on.
and then my cpu went bad, so i put a ram ecu in it to drive it home, and light was still on, i ordered the correct ecu, im just wondering what htis light means?

 

My guess is Generator which is the alternator. It is controlled by the computer. So if it is shorting out somewhere it can kill the computer.

By looking at the service manual it doesn't have a GEN light. Is the light say GEN. Or is it a picture or what? If you posted a picture it would help.

 

light said gen, its on the bottom right of the cluster
andd im assuming it was the alt shorted out and poped the ecu .
