I just want to thank the members who gave me all the good information on adjusting the cable on the transmission. I finally got around to making the adjustment and I am seeing a great difference in performance.

It took some thinking and some test drives to get it adjusted right, but I can finally drive down the road and have the transmission shift smooth (or as smooth as a 140,000 mile truck can shift).

I am glad I found this site and have been telling others about the great people and help found here!!!!
