hey guys im back can anyone tell me wher i can get the bj socket for a 96 dodge dakota 3.9 4x4 or the size that i need to get thanks bobby

FWIW Advance Auto has a nice suspension service loaner tool that should come with everything you need. I'm sure Autozone has a similar kit but I've never used it.

Default Just went through this.

The ball joint set that all of the chain stores rent is the press. You'll need that too, but the socket wasn't available to rent anywhere. This guy has them for $24.99 if you use ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

I just used a big adjustable wrench. I assume you are talking about the upper ball joint.
