Default Temp Sensor..

Where does the gauge sit on your dash? Mine use to be under 1/2 but now its right under 3/4.. All i did was change the sensor because it had broke (behind the nut so I was able to remove it) and now it seems hotter but no steam.. i even flushed the radiator and its still the same.. but NEVER over 3/4

Is that normal? maybe i should swap it again.. its such an easy swap

You're better off using psychic powers than the stock temp/oil pressure gauges IMO. This is why I like aftermarket mechanical gauges, I like actual numbers, stock gauges are vague to say the least.

Sounds like probably nothing to worry about..

Sounds like your not running hot, your fine. Just the sensor is reading differently then before. The old one probably was corroded and didn't have good conductivity compared to the new.
