Default Newbie Needs Help

Hello All,

New to the site. Hoping to start as little noob threads as possible, but I looked around and couldn't find a guide.

Long story short, the economy has kicked my *** a bit and had to get rid of the '04 X5 and just bought a '92 Dakota to get me by these next few months. So I figured I might as well work on the truck a little bit and fix it up, maybe re-sell it when I buy something else or maybe keep it.

Basically, I want to replace the two front fenders, rear bumper, and get a new paint job. I'm guessing it's all straight forward bolt off/bolt on, correct? Also, what sites would you wily vets recommend as my starting point for some of the stuff I can't get at a yard?

Thanks for all your help.

My FIL used the replacement panels from JC Whitney a few years ago and they were pretty decent.

www.craiglist.org is good too. A few body part sites in the FAQ in this section.
