Cool prostreet dakota??

saw a prostreet 1sr gen on CL 1989 with a 360 and waz pretty cool looking and there talking about building a strip out of our airport(OH YEAH!!)
so i waz wondering if anyone elses has built one so i have some sort of a template

To make a Dakota or any vechicle into a racer is not hard just can be expensive. So decide what kind of performance you want and how much you can spend.

I would definately start by putting in 12+ point roll cage to stiffen up the frame and either set up a 4 link rear, or ladder bars, or even caltracs. Also consider back-halfing the frame if you go with a 4 link.

Then once you have a platform that can handle the power, start doing engine and transmission work.

ya im just going to want a weekend racer 318 blown or a 360 maybe its in my blood to race so must fulfill the need lol anywayz i like this one and 6 grand is pretty good for it if its what it says it is just dont got the cash rite now =(

Pretty much shows what I said... back half the frame, put in a rollcage and redo the rear suspension... looks like this guy chose ladder bars.

ya that looks bad *** ya ladder bars would be awesome when i start mite be a while lol gotta start collecting funds and parts TO CRAIGSLIST AWAY!!! lol alrite ill start brainstorming and drawing
