Default code 17

what would cause a code 17? I am having problems starting when the engine is hot. The dealer replaced the plugs, AIS motor, and thermostat after I bought and the problem went away for awhile. He alsdo had to reflash the computer because it wasn't connecting to the AIS motor.

Is that the sensor on the intake? Would it help to relocate the sensor in to the air intake housing?

What is an AIS motor?

Code 17 is closed loop temp not reached or engine cold too long.

What temperature thermostat did you put in? Did you put the thermostat in the right way?

What temperatures are you seeing on the gauge? (1st tick mark is ~180, middle of gauge is ~195)

Its also possible that you have a bad ECT (engine coolant temp) sensor.
