The only reason I'd ever get clear lenses is to tint them for a smoked look rather than tinting regular taillights and having them turn out dark red or black.

 

i was actually thinking about them. certain cars imo look great with them. but like 95 said, i'd rather the smoked look than the crappy shiny silver/chrome. i'm only looking to get different ones because mine are starting to fog up and cops are taking the opportunity to pull me over and say they are defective and write me tickets for it
