Welcome to DodgeForum!

Is your truck 2wd or 4wd? What wheels are these tires going on? The more information we can get, the better input we'll have to give.

its a 2wd, and i have no idea haha, i just want to get some wide rims and tires together to make the truck bulldog (wheels bow out a inch or two out the wells) and was wondering if anyone else has done this and what they thought would look good.

Well if you want to lower the truck and have the wheels clear the wheel wells so they can stick out past them, you're going to be looking a fairly low profile tire. The widest tire you can fit in the front is a 255, but it would have to be pretty low profile not to rub.

Is this sort of the look you're going for, or if not, what do you want done different (he has 255/45/17s on a 17x9 rim)...

well i wanted the rims maybe to be a little smaller then those and bigger tires, like some 15' by 10s, or someething, i dont really know what would look good and what would be too much.

Its all good! Just looking for a starting point!

Its been a long time since Bad96_3.9 was on here, but IIRC, he had to grind down part of the control arm for those 17x9s to clear. So a 10 inch wide rim might be too much, except its hard to say cause the control arm is angled and the rim would be smaller, so it would contact it at a completely different point if at all.

I'm going to say you probably shouldn't try for wider than a 15x8 up front, but if someone wants to contradict me, go ahead! You could always go for a 10 inch wide rim in the back!

A 255/55/15 (if such size even exists) would be the same overall diameter and width as the tires in the above picture, but have more sidewall to them. You can always get a bigger tire out back, like a 275/something/15.
