changing out the dash

Question changing out the dash

i have a guy willing to sell me a dash for $30 but i have one question? is the vin plate atatched to the dash or where they smart enough to put it on the frame like other makes and if it is on the dash how can i go about changing them out? mine is all cracked and the other one lookes like it just rolled off the show room floor

The vin plate is riveted to the dash. I assume you can drill the rivets and rivet yours to the new dash. Shouldn't take but a few minutes.

Just remember the dash is more then just the top. It is the entire unit. Top and bottom sides it is all one piece.
