i need to replace my cv boot cause it has a small rip in it its not flinging much grease now but it might start to spill it out soon if i dont take care of it will i be able to wait till this weekend to do this or is it unsafe to do so (it still has lots of grease in it) and how do i replace it
It is not hard. Just very greasy. The service manual has detailed pictures of how to.
Basically remove the CV shaft. Remove the boot. There is a snap ring holding in the CV joint to the shaft.
