Windsheild wipers

Default Windsheild wipers

on the way home from school it started to rain, i went to turn the wipers on and nothing happened, has happened before but after shutting it off they worked. would this be the wiper motor or a fuse, and if the motor where is it located

Check your fuses first. If that isn't the issue, I'd guess the motor is bad. mine had similar issue just a few weeks ago before it quit completely. I grabbed one from a junkyard and had it replaced within 15 min. It's located underneath the hood on the drivers side, bolted to the firewall. It's close to the air filter and master cylinder. You have to remove the wiper arms and cowl grill, then remove the bolt that ties the motor to the wiper arms and remove the mounting bolts.

im not thatfimilar with the fuse box, where is that located, and does anyone have a chart of the fuses

There are 2 fuse boxes. The main one is under the dash. The 2nd is the fuse/ relay box, which is under the hood on the driver side inner fender. A diagram for both are in the FAQ in this section.

Go look in the FAQ for the diagram. Look for the fuse for windshield wipers.
