Are you talking about getting rid of the crankcase breather? Is that what you mean by pollution control?

no i have a pollution pump that pumps fresh air into the exhaust at the cat.i have already taken the plumbing out from the pump to the cat and from the air cleaner to the pump. i want to clean up my air intake by removeing the black flex line that runs to air cleaner. i want to know if the computer for the spark control will be affected if i remove it. i only added the pollution control part cause some parts are different on my engine than the regular 5.2 .

Ooooh, ok. I keep forgetting they put that stuff on the pre-magnum engines. I should have remembered that cause I know this question has been brought up before.

Here are some old threads about this topic...

Maybe those will answer your questions!

has anyone put a 14" air cleaner on there 5.2 and got rid of the flexabkle plumbing from the front fire wall to the air cleaner. if so did it affect your spark control and computer. if so what did it do.
