92 Cruise Control

Okay, my cruise does not work. So I printed off the check list in the FSM and quickly made a couple discoveries. The switches I have do not look like the ones they show. Also, the manual says that the vac res and all the other parts are on the passenger side. Well mines on the driver side. So I am wondering what the deal is. Went to the wrecker, no Dak's there with cruise, but the GC's with the V8 have the cruise parts on the passenger side.
Does anyone have a pic of the right switches for the steering wheel, and of the under-hood of a v8 Dakota? Am thinking this may be a after-market, or a shade tree mod.

The switch may be different for 92-93, but the connector is the same. So the pins it asks to test should be the same.
For a replacement www.rockauto.com has some switches check them. Or an OEM site like these http://www.moparpartsamerica.com/par...?siteid=214583

Here is my wheel. It should be like yours. I personally like this style better.

Okay your wheel is the same, so are the switches. Under the hood, different story.
The solenoid and reservoir are on a bracket thats right where your air cleaners hose is. This is why I am wondering about the set up. Yours is over by the blower control, I have nothing over there, nor does it look like anything ever was. Will try to get a picture, when I find out where my daughter put the camera.
